Digital Media Composing New Media Audio

 

My new audio composition provides insight into my daily life; in this case Tuesday, March 25. My composition begins with audio of my footsteps walking around campus (which is layered and looped throughout the new media audio composition). Next, you can hear Bob King giving a lecture in DMA class, followed by more foots steps. After this, I briefly hang out with friends in the pickle and walk over to a dance class. In this dance class, Ming Yang, recites a poem in Chinese. Finally, another set of footsteps takes me to my final location, the cafeteria and then back to my dorm to get some sleep.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3v4XAztfAU

Week Nine- Network Style Diagram

        This network style diagram represents a visual insight into my everyday life from an auditory perspective. I have used the larger shapes to show my typical acoustic environments. For example I have used images of nature, parties, houses, cars and theaters.  Additionally, I have grouped smaller images that show particular sounds that I hear, along with associative emotions in relation to each given environment.
